What Methods Were Used?
The Bolivarian Revolution revolved around the idea of receiving independence in the Americas. Venezuela, along with other parts of the Latin Americas, tried to gain independence; this meant war. Simón Bolívar lead his army and supporters through multiple battles strategically with one desire that he shared with the Latin Americas, freedom amongst themselves. Therefore, taking part in violence was acceptable because they were going up against massive rulers that have the ability to maintain great power with ease. From country to country the same tactic, fighting for the one goal, was embedded in their minds because it was made obvious that their land and people were being claimed by others from a different part of the world. The plan of fighting may appear to be the only mindset during this time, but between the people in the Americas, there was some peace because they were all striving for the same intention. In all, the revolutionaries were focused on the prize. Methodically, they were militantly based to attain the same idea of a free country.
